BULL

Inspired by the real life micro-industry known as Trial Science, the series Bull presented the unique challenge of illustrating the highly sophisticated (and often very abstract) techniques trial science companies use to analyze and predict jury outcomes. Being critical to the narrative structure, the data had to be clear to the audience, visually exciting, and remain accurate to the real-life science employed.  This meant developing a cutting edge faux operating system with a huge emphasis on data visualization, with the most common graphic sequences involving biometric and big data visualizations.

TAC

Trial Analysis Corp. (TAC) is the main set location for the series' titular character Jason Bull.  The TAC set featured a high volume of monitor banks populated with copious amounts of data analysis graphics including everything from big data visualization, to biometric tracking, to complex "hacking" sequences. Main stay graphics of the set include; the "Jury Scoreboard" (indication of where the team stands with the jury), "Deep Dives" (comprehensive profiles of a characters' personality based on web research) and "Profiles" (cursory explorations of a characters' behavioral patterns based on their social media presence).

PHONES, COMPUTERS AND OTHER

Not every motion graphic requirement of Bull involved TAC. Given the series' regular themes related to: social media; abundance of data; privacy; mass surveillance; and the news media, a host of other digital and video graphics were frequently required.
